CONTENTS OF THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM:

Plenary sessions

Plenary sessions consisting of invited lectures focusing on key questions and recent developments in the field of angiology will be held every morning.

Keynote lectures

Following established tradition, the congress will present invited lectures given by world-renowed experts in various fields of vascular medicine.

Free lectures sessions

Parallel sessions of presentations selected from the submitted abstracts will be held every afternoon. The free lectures will concern the previously mentioned main topics of the congress.

Early morning workshops

The morning workshops will focus on highly specialized, controversial or “hot” topics and will lead to intense disscusions concerning ensuing problems and questions.

Joint symposia

The congress will include several joint sessions organized in collaboration with international scientific societies and will show different perspectives and approaches to the treatment of vascular diseases. The following societies are expected to participate: Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe, European Society of Vascular Surgery, European Atherosclerosis Society, European Society of Lymphology, International Surgical Thrombosis Forum, Central European Vascular Forum and Latin American Vascular Forum, among others.

Satellite symposia/workshops

Sessions organized in cooperation with the medical industry, e.g. presenting the results of new clinical studies or introducing new scientific or technical achievments, will form an integral part of the congress program.

Poster sessions

Poster sessions will enable the authors to briefly present and subsequently discuss their scientific findings. The posters will be displayed electronically.
